Day Set Apart for Women!

Plans are underway for our first-ever "Day Set Apart for Women", Saturday, March 28 at 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m at Redeemer Church. Inspired by the principles taught in Titus 2 of the 'older women teaching the younger women' skills for wise living - discover a day rich in encouragement, fun and learning of new skills together as women!

The day features a time together of worship and instruction from God's Word on how to live with "Hope in These Uncertain Times" and to live generously as good stewards of God's resources. Be encouraged by testimonies from 'older women who've been there' and an expert panel sharing their expertise from clipping coupons, pinching pennies to creative and cheap dates and family outings, and more; all living life FULLY!

The day also features a variety of "how to" elective seminars: How to Grow Your Own Garden, How to Stay Healthy and Fit, Knitting 101, Cooking Healthy on a Budget, Simple Landscaping, Sticking to a Budget That Works!, Creating Inexpensive Gifts and the Art of Canning, and more! A Prayer Room will also be available all day for women to use.

And in order to keep costs down (and for added fun!), we are asking each registered participant to bring either a soup or a bread to be entered in our first annual "Soup and Bread Tasting Contest!" Prizes will be rewarded in each category for "Best Tasting" by our own Redeemer judges! And in the continued spirit of fun, we will feature our own "Dressing for Less" fashion show. Discover where to shop and find designer clothes without paying designer prices.

The cost for the day is $5 and pre-registration is required as seminars will be offered based on interest. Women ages 16 and up are welcome. Registration begins March 1.

This is a day you won't want to miss! Check out the Redeemer Church website for registration details! Hope to see you there!
